As the Senior International Public Finance Management Advisor for the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Iraq, currently working towards strengthening the financial and fiscal governance systems that would enhance macro-fiscal stability, economic development, and lead to improved budget credibility, stable public investments, and decreased dependency on oil revenues.

As Task Manager of the Public Financial Management (PFM) Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF), managed the restructuring and extension of closing date of the MDTF and prepared a new project based on current challenges

Prepared Project Performance Assessment Report (PPAR) for the eGhana Project, drawing major lessons for projects aimed at developing IT Enabled Services industry and improving efficiency

Forged partnership with the UNODC in conducting reviews and supporting compliance of the United Nations Conventions against Corruption (UNCAC) as part of Bank’s global agenda to combat corruption

Supervised the Iraq Public Financial Management (PFM) Project under the Iraq Trust Fund with a project cost of $16 million as the TTL, resulting in an increase in the disbursement rate from 3 % to 61 % between 2011 and 2013

Conducted national survey on corruption, diagnostic review of anti-corruption legal and regulatory framework, development of national anti-corruption strategy and building a civil society coalition against corruption

Formulated Sector Development Program (SDP) for the water and sanitation sector in Bangladesh, on principles of decentralization and local governance. Achieving 100% coverage of safe water and sanitation by 2010
